"I don't know," I mumbled. "It's what the voice said."

"What?" he turned and looked at her, concerned.

"Oh, were you not awake for that?" I asked quietly with a hint of sarcasm.

"It got you, too." it was more of a statement than a question.

And she had these pretty greyish-blueish eyes that helped you look into her soul...and she was a little taller than most..." he trailed off, looking at Lil, hoping she would realize he had just described her. Because it was true - Aslan had created him his perfect girl, but his perfect girl was Lil.

I smiled as I walked over to him and wrapped my arms around his neck. "I hate you," I whispered, smiling up at him.

He looked down and grinned. "Well, I can always leave again if you'd like.."

"But then you'd have to apologize all over again," I said, teasing him lightly.

He rolled his eyes. "Shut up." He looked up at the sky, but all his stars were gone and the sly was dark. "Oh no!" he cried as a clap of thunder shook the land.

I looked up at the sky and closed my eyes as the rain began to pour, soaking us. I laughed and moved my hair so that it wouldn't stick to my face.
