Peter must have heard me call his name. His response to Cam was ripping off his shirt (to lessen the weight and free he range of motion) and climbing up to the edge of the boat. He gritted his teeth and dove gracefully in the water, landing a few feet away from me. "Peter!" I screamed when I heard the splash. I heard but couldn't see his smooth easy strokes coming quickly towards me.

I watched Peter as he dove in to save her. Why did he have to be so perfect? I watched anxiously for them to return into sight.

I heard another splash but I couldn't see for shit. Suddenly, I felt Peter's strong arms around me. They were almost as cold as mine, and they were shaking violently. I could feel him getting colder and involuntarily slackening his grip. I felt a scaly support under me that I assumed was Cam's tail. So the other splash was Cam..... "Toss the ladder!" Peter shouted weakly to Lil. I remembered hoping vaguely that Lil would forgo her issues with Peter and toss down the ladder.

I tossed down the ladder. I may have had issues with Peter but that didn't mean I wanted Lucy to die.

Finally the ladder came down into the water!

We headed towards the ladder (with a lot of help and propulsion from Cam) and Peter, lips blue, shaking like he was being electrically shocked, somehow managed to carry me and himself up the ladder and lay me gently on the deck before collapsing himself.

I help Lucy up and practically dragged her into the sheltered area. I rummaged through some stuff and found a dry blanket, which I tucked around her to help her get warmer.

I got back up on the ship the same way I had yesterday.

I was still shaking. "Peter..." I mumbled, shooting Lil a pleading look. He was on the open deck, alone, exhausted and possibly unconscious, shirtless and blanketless after saving me. I didn't care how pissed she was at him, he just helped save my life and nearly died himself.

I watched the tail seperate into two and turn from blue to my skin color. I wrapped a blanket around me, attempting to warm up.

I sighed. "Alright." I mumbled. I went back out into the freezing rain and found Peter. I made Ed help me because there was no way I was going to beable to lift Peter on my own. We carried/dragged him into the room and set him down on the floor gently. I found another blanket and placed it conveniently over his abs so I wouldn't be tempted to stare.

"Th-th-th-thank you," I chattered to Cam.

"No problem," I whispered. That water was unbearable.

After helping Lil with Peter, Ed walked over to Cam and put a blanket gently around her shoulders, leaving his hands on her shoulders standing behind her. I was still shaking but it was less now and I crawled over to Peter and tucked the blanket tighter around him. He was shaking even asleep, and his lips were still blue. His hair was hanging in his face and I gently combed it away from his eyes and off to the side. He was breathing normally, so I wasn't afraid that he was like dead or anything. I crawled back over to Lil and Cam. I was contemplating whether or not to be mad at him anymore.

I put my arms around Lucy in an attempt to help her warm up faster.
