I started putting books, blankets, various clothing and whatever else we had sitting out into bags, not really caring who the bag belonged to.

He pet her head gently. "I know. Me too. But we've gotta think of Lucy; she's all alone. We need to find her and then we'll all be back to normal," he said reassuringly.

I laughed a little after I thought about what he had said. I didn't think that we would ever be able to go back to normal but I stood up. I was doing this for Lucy.

He offered her his hand to stand, and they walked over towards the caravan Peter and Ed had arranged.

We all mounted the horses and continued on our journey. I looked back at the camp as we rode away from it. As we rode, I realized just how terrified I really was. Every little crackle on the ground or gust of wind scared me thinking it was that man or someone who worked for/with that man.
