"Peter! Come here!" I shouted to my older brother. He grinned and followed me up the marble staircase. "Look! It's us!" I pointed at a picture of Peter, Susan, Edmund, Caspian and me sitting in our thrones at Cair Paravel.
"I don't look half bad," he said with a smile, wiping the dust off the picture.
"Peter!" my other brother Edmund shouted. "if I half to carry this trunk of armor up another flight of stairs, I will run you through with it." his face cane into view and peter chuckled amiably.
"Fair enough," he said, grabbing the trunk from Ed. "Oh why look so glum?" he added as Edmund followed slowly.
"Lets see...why could I possibly be unhappy...after all I only used to be king of Narnia and now were here disguised as common children."
Peter whirled around. "Theres nothing wrong with common ," he said fiercely. "After all, you and I are here to find another queen to replace..." his face turned a queer color and his expression was pained.
"Susan?" I offered gently. Peter whipped back around and continued lugging our trunks up the stairs.
"High King, that one," Edmund whispered to me.
Peter whipped around again. "Listen. We aren't kings and queens anymore. Were just kids for now. And at the moment, were all we've got. So please, lets not have any unneccessary rows. We say things when were angry, and we don't want to slip up and reveal our identities."
"I still don't see why were at this stupid school at all." Edmund muttered.
"Becsuse aslan said so," peter replied simply. We reached the top of the stairs and peter swung open the heavy wooden door to my dorm. He tossed my trunk on the nearest of 4 four posters and out of nowhere gave me a huge hug. I hugged him back, letting a few tears escape. I had faced witches and armies and seas, but learning how not to be a queen would be the hardest thing of all.
